Current work
Murph has now taken on a different role than behind the wheel, and is commentator during the races and a motorsport TV Presenter.
Murph is no stranger to reaching 300km/h on the track, but the Kiwi V8 Supercar legend preaches safe speeds and smart decisions when it comes to driving on the road. Murph has been tirelessly advocating for widespread safety improvements in driver training, vehicles and road systems for some time. He worked alongside the Motor Trade Association to create an in-school road safety programme "Murph in Schools", which started in 2010. In 2019, he worked alongside Holden New Zealand to develop a new road safety programme designed for young drivers.

With over 400 V8 Supercar race starts, multiple Bathurst 1000 wins and appointments with some of the highest profile race teams in Australasia, Greg is rightfully considered one of the greats by fellow competitors and fans alike.

2003 - Fastest lap on the 6.213 km Mount Panorama Circuit, 2:06.859. Record held for 7 years.
2003 - 1st place, Bathurst 1000 with Rick Kelly
2003 - 1st place, Bathurst 24 Hour with Peter Brock, Todd Kelly and Jason Bright
2004 - 1st place, Bathurst 1000 with Rick Kelly
2008 - 2nd , Bathurst 1000
2011 - Pole position, Bathurst 1000. 3rd place, Bathurst 1000
2012 - Won the first ever V8SuperTourer race at Hampton Downs.
2013 - 1st place, V8SuperTourer Sprint Series and overall Season Champion.
2014 - 1st place, V8 SuperTourer Sprint Series
Off the track Murph, has his helicopter pilot's licence and in his spare time cycles to keep fit.
