Jacqui Ritchie is the founder of Bellyful New Zealand; one of the countries fastest growing, entirely volunteer run, not-for-profit organisations. Beginning in May 2009, Jacqui took three years away from paid work, in order to commit to establishing the charity. Bellyful now has 20 branches, and over 600 volunteers, throughout the North and South Island.
In 2013, Jacqui and her husband founded One Dollar Warriors, after their experience in needing to raise $200,000 for her husbands urgent brain surgery in Germany (which they successfully raised in five weeks).
Background
Coming from a broken family who strugged with poverty, Jacqui lived in more than 35 houses, attending 26 different schools throughout the country. Having lived a rather interesting life, Jacqui has a raft of experiences to draw from and she is proof that your past doesn't have to determine your future.

While Jacqui remains on the board of Bellyful, she now works as the National Fundraising Manager for NZ’s largest children’s charity. Jacqui lives in Wellington with her husband and three sons.
