'The most beautiful sound I have ever heard...'

One of the lines from the musical West Side Story – which is featured in the stunning entertainment package Off Broadway – and a line which arguably applies to Off Broadway itself.

The show initially comprised favourite songs from the hit musicals Phantom of the Opera, West Side Story, Les Miserables and Evita. Performed in character and full costume, to full musical backing. Outstanding New Zealand singers Mike Bell, Evelyn Falconer, Craig Davson and Heather Brocket, who have performed in numerous productions of these shows and others, bring numbers including Phantom of the Opera, Music of the Night, I Dreamed a Dream, Another Suitcase in Another Hall, Master of the House, Do You Hear the People Sing – and more, to life.

Recently four new brackets have been added to the selection, including numbers from Starlight Express, Grease, Miss Saigon and Jesus Christ Superstar. This has added a new element to the show and one that is guaranteed to ensure this package is a 'must have' for your conference entertainment – and one that will be talked about throughout New Zealand for a long time to come. When the extended show debuted one of the producers commented 'It just went off – it was awesome – they were dancing on the tables!'

Full sound, lighting and stage production – including the mist rolling in for Phantom of the Opera – by Audio Visual Techniques completes the show and sets the scene for absolutely fabulous dinner entertainment.
