Founder of Auckland Labour Hire

Hard work, works.

Inspiring young entrepreneur, Izzy Whitley is the founder of Auckland Labour Hire - a company that recruits and supply’s contractors to the building and construction industry.

Hailing from the small city of Gisborne on the East Coast of New Zealand, Israel was brought up in a close-knit family who are at the foundations of his motivation. Israel’s humble working-class upbringing encouraged within him a strong work ethic from a young age. This in turn became the key and fundamental attribute contributing to the success of his company, Auckland Labour Hire, and helped instill resilience.

Israel has faced adversity, and shares his inspiring stories candidly with audiences; after two heart attacks at only 21 years of age he was forced to give up his dream of becoming a professional football player. While recovering he had to deal with the tragic loss of his father who committed suicide.

Israel is passionate about removing the stigma of suicide and mental health issues.

Current work:
Israel's company, Auckland Labour Hire has developed rapidly over its lifespan. Israel’s mantra is ‘Hard work, works’, which is implemented throughout all aspects of ALH; especially when creating a positive and personable experience for his team and all others involved.

ALH looks to build on a quality experience for both their clients and employees. Ensuring the livelihood of their employees is well looked after, their safety practiced as an utmost imperative, whilst providing them with prosperous opportunities to further their careers is something they strive to achieve. Ensuring projects have the sufficient labour required for their timelines is the end goal, and helping to build New Zealand's future in a prosperous and efficient manner is key.
