And his journey into the importance of mindfulness that he is bringing to schools across New Zealand. His story, and way of telling it, will inspire you to look again at how you move your body and still your mind. British High Commission

We invited Jase Te Patu to speak on the importance of health and well-being during the 2020 General Election. We did so due to his reputation and expertise. He delivered a heartfelt, personal yet humorous speech to our staff, followed by an interactive activity which allowed individuals to develop self-care plans. Then the team as a whole discussed ways leadership could implement tactics to bring them together as a team and help push wellbeing internally. The election can be an intense and unforgiving time and staff felt excited that we already had a plan in place, and to see their employers valuing their wellbeing. Staff and our Minister for Women also talked about how engaging they found Jase, and that they’d love to see him back again but on a regular basis. Which is exactly what we’ll be asking him to do!

New Zealand Green Party

I have engaged Jase to work alongside us, delivering korero/yoga/meditation/mindfulness to teachers in the Early Childhood Education sector. In the time I have known Jase, he has shown integrity and a strong work ethic in the mahi he engages in. Jase is passionate about all aspects of holistic wellbeing, particularly mental health and mindfulness in relation to our most vulnerable, and most treasured; our tamariki. Jase is knowledgeable, personable, and an inspiration to those he comes in to contact with; both young and old. I have no hesitation in recommending Jase, personally and professionally.

Te Rito Maioha Early Childhood New Zealand

Les Mills New Zealand had the pleasure of inviting Jason to present throughout New Zealand in 2019 at our Les Mills Group Fitness Instructor Workshops. These Workshops are held each quarter in our main centres Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin. Jason created and presented a training session called ‘The Art of Connection’ that was tailored especially for our Group Fitness world. The training was delivered to all the Group Fitness Instructors that travel from all over New Zealand to their regional Workshop. We can have over 600+ instructors attend the Workshops. The Art of Connection session was a massive hit and the feedback we received was incredible. Jason took the time to be at each training session way before and after. He has a presence that everyone can’t get enough of. As soon as he walked into the studios the instructors were totally engaged. The Workshops are designed for instructors to be up-skilled in their craft and these guys are hungry for content that can take them to the next level, which The Art of Connection did just that. I have had the pleasure of working with Jason over many years and he’s always been professional, kind, gone over and above what is asked, an authentic leader, inspirational... the list goes on. On a personal note Jason has been a very dear friend to my family and I for many years and it was another proud moment (there have been many) seeing him present in a space he owns.
