Madison Reidy is the host and executive producer of Markets with Madison - the New Zealand Herald's business show.

Named on the Forbes 30 under 30 Class of 2024, Madison is known for interviewing the biggest names in business, including Reserve Bank Governor Adrian Orr, Rocket Lab CEO Peter Beck and high-profile US investors Cathie Wood and Vinod Khosla.

Her show, which aims to help investors understand what they're putting their money towards, has garnered more than 1.4 million views online.

Madison always knows the pulse of the domestic and global economy, the state of share markets, large listed companies and investment trends such as cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence.

Her career to date has included working for New Zealand's largest investment and advisory group Jarden, TV3's Newshub prime evening news programme and Radio New Zealand's business programmes.

In her role at Newshub as the dedicated business and economics reporter, Madison covered the impact of Covid-19 on the New Zealand economy and companies, including the recession and rise in unemployment benefits, business owner stress, inflation, Government policy response, financial market turmoil and the recovery of consumer demand and travel. Her investigative work covered the housing crisis, cryptocurrency, the popularity of buy-now pay-later platforms and high-profile fraud cases.

Madison has interviewed countless top executives and politicians including Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, former Leader of the Opposition Judith Collins, former Prime Minister Sir John Key and Reserve Bank Governor Adrian Orr.
