Niki Bezzant is a multi-award-winning New Zealand writer, journalist, editor and commentator who has built a reputation for translating complex health and science jargon into easy-to-understand information for everyone.

She has been involved in New Zealand media for more than 20 years. Currently the editor of Thrive magazine and the health editor of Woman magazine, she is also a frequent contributor to New Zealand's top print, online and broadcast media. She founded and edited the Cuisine website before becoming founding editor of Healthy Food Guide magazine, taking that title from an independent start-up to New Zealand's top-selling food magazine, a position it held for over a decade.

Niki is a sought-after speaker and has given two TEDx talks, including ˜What social media is teaching us about life, health and food.' She's passionate about women's health, especially empowering midlife women to become ˜vibrant, kick-ass old ladies'.

Niki's book, This Changes Everything: the honest guide to menopause and perimenopause was published in January 2022 and has sparked conversations about this important transition in women's lives. She's part of a movement aimed at empowering women by making talking about menopause just as easy and straightforward as talking about pregnancy or puberty.
