Profile

Sara-Jane Elika is a Director of ECG, a boutique consultancy providing advice on strategy, leadership, and the Pacific economy for both public and private sector clients. She has experience in executive management and a pandemic crisis as Interim CEO for Pacific Media Network during the Covid-19 lockdowns.

Her insights connect community, corporate and government organisations and currently serves as a trustee/director on Foundation North, Good Shepherd NZ and Community Law o Aotearoa.

In 2020 she was recognised as a 40 Under 40 Business Leader from the University of Auckland Alumnus, and a finalist in the “NZ Women of Influence” awards for her contribution to Arts and Culture. In 2017 she won the “Emerging Leader” award from Governance NZ, Women on Boards and is an alumnus of Leadership NZ and Global Women Breakthrough Leaders 2022 cohort.

Sara-Jane is an active arts advocate both as entertainer and producer having won a Tui music Aotearoa award for Best Pacific Album and inaugural Best Pacific Female artist at the NZ Pacific Music awards. Her passion project is growing the media arm of ECG which has been funded through NZ on Air for 2 Seasons for the Music/Chat show SOUL SESSIONS which has screen throughout the Pacific Islands Region and in NZ on Prime TV and Whakaata Maori TV.

An admitted Barrister and Solicitor to the High Court of NZ her strengths include leadership analysis, stakeholder engagement and cultural intelligence.
