One of New Zealand's best stand-up comedians, Andrew has successfully toured in Australia, UK and Singapore.
Born and raised in Laingholm, West Auckland, Andrew did nothing remarkable with the first 21 years of his life before he cast aside a career as a sales rep and set off to seek his fortune on the professional comedy circuits of Australia.
He is a regular and leading act for COMEDYFEST, the Classic Comedy Club, and the popular TV show 'Pulp Comedy'. In recent years, Andrew has performed for NZ, UN peacekeeping forces in East Timor, performed throughout England, Wales, Ireland and Holland, as well as the Montreal “Just for Laughs” Festival in 2000.
Andrew constantly develops new material and is quick to capitalise on topical issues ... everything from dope smoking cricketers and harmonic happy birthdays to whinging Australians. He is also an excellent host and MC, with an outstanding ability to interact with a wide audience.
Congratulations to both Andrew Clay and Mike King for an awesome night. May they bring us many more. ... keep reading Bay of Plenty Times
