Kimberley Crossman is a Kiwi Actress, Author, Producer, Writer and Presenter. She also happens to be gunning for total world domination. She’s likely to do it, too, given her wide array of talents and fearlessness that knows no bounds. Kimberley began laying the bricks she’d need to build her ever-growing career starring as Sophie McKay on Shortland Street a popular TV program which airs in New Zealand, Australia and the UK.
Since then, Kimberley has been splitting her time between Los Angeles and New Zealand working on shows in both countries with the likes of Kevin Connolly, Steven Fry, William Shatner, George Lopez , Joel McHale and Dennis Quaid to name a few. The focus is primarily on comedy at this stage and the goal is to create a single camera comedy that she will also star in.
In addition to her acting prowess, Kimberley is an accomplished host, presenter, and radio personality. She has been the LA correspondent for The Project New Zealand on THREE and in the US, has been working with the team at Seriously as the host of the Best Best Fiends Show, the Best Fiends game has had over 80 million downloads worldwide. Kimberley has also joined the team at Joyride and hosts daily live interactive trivia games on the app.
In 2020, Kimberley entered the podcast world and premiered her podcast ‘Pretty Depressed’ with Kevin Connolly as the Executive Producer on the project.
For Kimberley, success means nothing if she can’t inspire others to be their most authentic selves and pursue their dreams. Her passion for inspiring others lead her to write her first book, “Love YOU: Be Your Best, and Live Your Dreams,” published by Penguin New Zealand. In 2019 Kimberley and her sister Rochelle launched the first online collaborative gifting platform, Joyable.co with the goal to reduce waste and help kiwis give and receive gifts that bring joy.
While Kimberley has enjoyed working on some exciting roles including Golden Boy on Three, Have You Been Paying Attention on TVNZ and a Netflix show in the US, Happy Merry Whatever. But, perhaps the roles she is most proud of is that she is a World Vision Ambassador and the 2019 SPCA Ambassador.
