Laura Tupou is a New Zealand Journalist often seen reporting and presenting on TV3’s Newshub. In 2021, Laura became one of the hosts on the channel’s flagship news and entertainment show, The Project.
Laura comes from a background working in radio and education before moving into journalism. At University she dabbled in engineering and economics but ultimately completed degrees in environmental planning and journalism. She has specific interests in Pasifika, transport and social issues.
Laura is a proud Tongan Kiwi from Hamilton and a mum-of-one.
As an MC she has a natural charm and easy going disposition - an asset for any event!
