Nick rose to international prominence through two seasons of the global Drag Race franchise, competing on RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under and Canada vs The World. His warmth, humour and authenticity earned him the distinction of becoming the first contestant in Drag Race history to be crowned Miss Congeniality twice.

A familiar face on New Zealand television, Nick hosted Warner Bros. productions House of Drag Seasons 1 and 2 and Winner Winner Chicken Dinner, while also appearing on popular programmes including Have You Been Paying Attention? and Celebrity Brain Busters. In 2021, he was nominated for New Zealand Television Personality of the Year.

Beyond television, Nick has built a reputation as one of the country’s most accomplished live performers. His debut solo cabaret show, Funny Gurl!, toured internationally to critical acclaim, delighting audiences at the Perth, Adelaide and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals with his distinctive mix of comedy, storytelling and drag artistry.

In Auckland, Nick has been co-owner of the iconic drag cabaret venue Caluzzi for more than a decade and has produced a range of successful drag productions, including the cult favourite Drag Wars and a series of popular touring bingo shows through Drag Queen Bingo New Zealand.

Away from the spotlight, Nick is also an accomplished professional musician. A longstanding member of the Royal New Zealand Navy Band, he has regularly performed with the Auckland Philharmonia and, in 2024, combined his passions for music and drag in Scholes: Concerto for Drag Queen, Trumpet and Orchestra with the Auckland Chamber Orchestra.

Nick expanded into musical theatre in 2025, earning outstanding reviews for his portrayal of Bernadette in Priscilla Queen of the Desert at Auckland’s Civic Theatre. The performance led to his casting as Pharaoh in LNR Productions’ 2026 season of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Auckland’s Q Theatre.

Through his trailblazing work across drag, television, cabaret, music and theatre, Nick has become a distinctive and influential figure in New Zealand entertainment, celebrated for his creativity, versatility and ability to connect with audiences from all walks of life.
