Samantha Jones is the Founder and CEO of Little Yellow Bird, a uniform company, providing their customers with complete transparency and their workers with ethical employment opportunities.
Little Yellow Bird was founded in 2015 and now supplies over 200 organisations in New Zealand, Australia, USA & Japan with their uniform requirements.
Background:Samantha's background is in Supply Chain Management and she served as a Logistics Officer in the Royal New Zealand Air Force for six years prior to setting up Little Yellow Bird.
Awards: Samantha has a Masters in International Security, is an Edmund Hillary Fellow and was recognised as New Zealand's Young Innovator of the year in 2017. She is currently a finalist in the 2018 Women of Influence Awards in the global category.
Current work: Samantha is also the founder of Origins which is a supply chain tracking platform that aims to increase transparency in the garment industry, recently raising over $1M via the NEM foundation. Samantha strives to live a life of purpose with the intention of always making a positive contribution to the projects she's involved with. She describes her business philosophy as "defining success on your own terms and achieving it by your own rules."
